The El Paso Times asked each candidate in opposed races in the El Paso, Socorro and Ysleta districts to answer this questionnaire.We present the answers for El Paso Independent School District District No. 1 seat, in the same order as they appear on the ballot. What experiences in leadership do you have that qualify you to serve as a school trustee? First and foremost is my approach to life:  I’m a straight talker and a good listener.  Understanding the situation, before jumping in with the solution, helps every leader make better decisions.
