Dennis Miller shared a screen shot on Twitter of a screen in the new Google Search Console that shows the first detected error for a page was detected on April 24, 2018. Then on May 8, 2018 he submitted a fix to be validated and Google, after 90 days, almost 3 months, said the validation test has passed. Yes, it took Google 90 days to mark the validation as passed. Here is the screen shot: Google’s John Mueller responded to the criticism around the delay saying on Twitter that Google tries “to be transparent even when it looks weird.” He added that sometimes “slow servers + “unimportant” URLs can make this take time.” Transparency is a good thing but man that was a long time!
