Freep.com will carry a live stream here from before the service through the procession. 6:47 p.m.: Franklin’s casket is in the vintage white 1940 LaSalle hearse. 6:43 p.m.: Franklin’s casket and mourners are filing out of the church. 6:41 p.m.: Jennifer Holliday is at the podium to sing as pallbearers move Franklins casket. Holliday, a singer and actress, played Effie White in the 1981 Broadway production of “Dreamgirls.” Holliday made news in 2017 after she backed out of singing as part of President Donald Trump’s inaugural events. Earlier in the day: Doris Watkins, 91, and Ann Sledge, 76, are out on the avenue of the fashions to pay their respect to the queen.
