Like 2021, the festival will take place online with a few Satellite Screens in seven states . Sundance Film Festival 2022 will screen the Kanye West documentary jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy, by film directors Coodie and Chike . Longtime friends and collaborators of Ye, the two directors follow his more than 20-year career as an artist and entrepreneur. Other premieres include Honk for Jesus, Save Your Soul, directed by Adamma Ebo and starring Regina Hall and Sterling K. Brown. The film tells the story of a pastor and his wife's attempt to rebuild their congregation at a Southern Baptist megachurch after a massive scandal. The Dakota Johnson indie Cha Cha Real Smooth , about a bar-mitzvah hype man fresh out of college and his relationship with a young mom, will be screened as well.
