I’ve seen it reported it various places that this will all change when the Fascinate is finally updated to Android 2.2. You’ll be able to chose your search provider then, some have said. But I have Android 2.2 on the Droid 2, and it doesn’t allow me to switch search providers. So why would I expect that Android 2.2 on the Fascinate will do so? Worse, Android 2.3 on the Nexus S doesn’t have a search provider option at all!
