share tweet share pin it e-mail share One of the features of our new Searchmetrics Content Experience (SCE) we’re particularly proud of is the way it raises the efficiency of collaboration throughout an organization. Google Backs Down, Will Give Street View Data To Privacy Officials

Google is backtracking on its previous refusal to hand over private data collected in April by its Street View cars to several European governments. The Financial Times reports that Google will initially give the intercepted data to officials in Germany, France, Spain, and Italy sometime within the next two days. The Financial Times quotes Google CEO Eric Schmidt, who repeated what Sergey Brin said last month about the Street View blunder: “We screwed up. Let’s be very clear about that,” Mr Schmidt said. “If you are honest about your mistakes it is the best defence for it not happening again.” Schmidt also told the Times that he couldn’t rule out the possibility that Google collected personal data such as bank account details. That won’t sit well with privacy regulators, many of whom are buzzing around Google looking for any opportunity they can find to challenge Google on the privacy front. But Google also isn’t doing itself any favors … [Read more...] about Google Backs Down, Will Give Street View Data To Privacy Officials

Oh great…another content checklist. I know what you’re thinking. So, why is this one any different? These tips are backed by years of experience – and, they actually work. This list includes strategies I use myself, and actions I instructed my team to take when I managed writers. Behind the Scenes Content is King! Content is Queen! Content reigns supreme! At this point, I have heard just about every statement thrown out there in regards to content marketing. One of the questions I am often asked is: “Isn’t there an over-saturation of content on the Web?” That question is usually followed up with “Are searchers really interested in all that content or has the space become too crowded?” There is no doubt in my mind that consumers are inundated with online content.
